Annemarie Fux grew up in Switzerland, surrounded by the beauty of the Swiss Alps. In 1980, she moved to Canada. Her first home was in Valemount, BC, between the Cariboo Range and the Rocky Mountains - a beautiful place she still calls home. She then lived in Vernon from 1988 to 2010, after which time she moved to the Okanagan Valley.
Attending Okanagan University College she majored in sculpture, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. She then added to her knowledge and skills by studying with two glass artists. In order to express her thoughts through her art, Annemarie is still constantly learning and experimenting.
She opened the Annemarie Fux Glass Studio in Kelowna in January 2011, and moved to Terrace in 2017, which is still to this day her greatest pride and joy. You are welcome to visit her studio and showroom at 387 Kalum Lake Road in Terrace, British Columbia.
